Day 1: Discover the Finnish Nature

Welcome to Finland! Our tour begins with arrival at Helsinki Airport, followed by a transfer to the gateway of the beautiful Finnish Lakeland district, the Lahti region. At Pajulahti Olympic Training Center, located in a UNESCO Global Geopark area by the picturesque Lake Iso-Kukkanen, the group will enjoy a fun-filled day with various sports activities tailored specifically to the group and adjusted to the participants’ ages.

• Transfer to Pajulahti Olympic Training Center (1h 15min)
• Full-day Olympic summer camp with trained supervisors

Day 2: Fun learning & Fun sports

Today, we’ll continue having fun at the Pajulahti Olympic Training Center. The group will learn more about nature during a special Nature Education session tailored to the age of the participants. In the afternoon, we will enjoy an adventure at the treetop park, including the exciting bungee trampoline! In the evening, the group will participate in an educational Geopark session, followed by frying pancakes over a bonfire with an experienced guide.

Day 3: Visit to the Science Museum and exploring Helsinki

Today, we will head to Finland’s capital, Helsinki. After a healthy breakfast at Pajulahti, we’ll depart for the Heureka Science Museum. The visit will include a 45-minute guided tour, followed by time to explore the museum’s interactive exhibits and gadgets at own pace, allowing participants to learn about science in a fun, hands-on way. After the visit, the group will continue to Helsinki city center for a sightseeing bus tour. The evening’s highlight will be a visit to a traditional Finnish restaurant, where the group will enjoy a three-course dinner featuring classic Finnish dishes.

• Visit to Heureka Science Museum, including a 45-minute guided tour and lunch (3,5h)
• Transfer from Heureka Science Museum to Helsinki city center (30 min)

Day 4: Discover Coastal Helsinki: Visit UNESCO and Zoo Islands

Did you know that Helsinki is located on over 300 islands? Today, you’ll visit at least two of them! First, we’ll take the waterbus to Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In Suomenlinna, an adventurous excursion tailored specifically for school groups awaits. After the exciting excursion and a healthy lunch, we’ll take another waterbus to Korkeasaari Zoo. At Korkeasaari, we’ll have a snack and enjoy a guided tour around the island, learning more about the zoo’s inhabitants.

• Return waterbus ride to Suomenlinna Sea Fotress, a UNESCO World Heritage site
• Adventure excursion designed specifically for school groups (2h)
• Waterbus return ride to Korkeasaari Zoo & guided excursion (4h)

Day 5: Game Consoles at the Library and a Museum in Nature

Today, we’ll head out for a walk in central Helsinki, learning more about Finland and the main sights of its capital. The walk will guide us to the modern Oodi Library, which is not just a library but a unique meeting point where locals gather to spend quality time together. We’ll discover what kinds of game consoles and musical instruments can be played in the library, and, if we’re lucky, we might even see the 3D printer in action! After a fun morning, the day continues with a visit to Haltia Nature Center and Museum, located just outside the city in Nuuksio National Park. During the visit, we’ll learn about local wildlife through both indoor and outdoor excursions with an experienced guide. The day will culminate at Flying Cinema Helsinki, where the group will experience the city from a bird’s-eye view.

Day 6: A Sweet Goodbye!

Today is our last day in Helsinki, and we’re sure to make the most of it! The day begins with a fun and educational visit to a local confectionery museum, Fazer Visitor Center. After the enjoyable excursion, you can indulge in as many sweets as you like! The day will conclude with a visit to the Aviation Museum, where the group will receive quality flight simulator training under the guidance of a real aircraft pilot, right before heading home.
